The unit comes standard with 12.5 MB of RAM (up to 1,000 pages¹) and a 72-hour battery backup to ensure that no faxes are lost if the power goes out — even over a long weekend. It will scan a document at true 600 dpi, and deliver output at a fast 10 pages per minute. Its dual access capability enables it to handle two tasks at once.

An instant dial feature starts to transmit a multi-page document as soon as a connection is made — no waiting for all pages to be scanned. Its fast 33.6 Kbps modem can transmit a page in as little as 2.5 seconds¹, saving time and telephone costs. And, with JBIG compression, file sizes are further reduced for even faster transmission.
