Overview
The imageRUNNER 1670F
combines digital laser-quality copying, productive printing,
and powerful Super G3 Fax capabilities in a single, compact
desktop configuration. At 16 pages-per-minute output speed,
the imageRUNNER 1670F comes equipped with 16 MB of copier
memory (approx. 98 copy pages; 255 incoming fax pages), a
copy resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi (interpolated) and a print
resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi (interpolated) for fast,
high-volume output with superior image quality.
Printing is made simpler
and smarter than ever via Canon's Advanced Printing
Technology (CAPT). This revolutionary system compresses data
files before they are sent to the printer, requiring less
memory and processing power; thus providing faster printing
performance. Dedicated printing capabilities are available
via a USB or Parallel Port connection. In addition, when
equipped with an optional Network Adaptor, it can serve as a
shared network printer, giving all users in your
organization access to the iR 1670F’s capabilities
directly from their desktops.

The Canon imageRUNNER 1670F
was created to meet the document production and delivery
needs of the most demanding small office environments,
including: home offices, start-up companies, remote offices
and corporate workgroups looking for productive digital
printing with convenience copying. With a full gamut of
productivity-enhancing features, the iR 1670F makes an
excellent primary printer/copier/fax for small organizations
with growing and increasingly complex document management
needs… or even a convenient secondary/backup device for
larger organizations that could use an extra machine to
alleviate increased workloads.
The imageRUNNER 1670F
delivers the power, performance, and productivity usually
found on larger, more expensive systems. Current users of

from the iR 1670F’s all-in-one multi-functional
capabilities and digital features. The compact desktop
design (just 15-1/8"H x 18-3/4" W x 17-3/8"
D!) is ideal for crowded offices, cramped quarters—any
environment where space is at a premium. Plus, the iR 1670F
takes up a lot less space and is cheaper and easier to
operate than an office full of comparable individual copier,
printer and fax devices.
