I-Fax is a mid-volume fax equipped with
Internet fax capabilities. You can use it to
send paper documents as TIFF or PDF
attachments to a single email address, a group

industry-standard T.37 Internet protocol.

I-Fax includes a superfast 33.6 Kbps modem
featuring a 3 second-per-page transmission
time1 that sends your special
report or urgent document quickly, saving you
time and phone connection charges.
You can save
even more money using the Internet fax feature
to reduce both long distance and local toll
costs. The standard 2.5 MB memory lets you
scan and store up to 200 pages1,
which is especially important if you receive
faxes after hours, or if the paper or the
toner run out. Optional expansion memory up to
8 MB with battery backuplets you store up to
840 pages1 for as long as 20 hours
if the power goes out for an extended period
of time.

for clear, crisp documents at 8 ppm. You can
also use it as an 8 ppm desktop copier and

optional universal 2nd paper trayfor long,
unattended runs.

Fast,
efficient dialing.
The one-touch dial system on
the OKIFAX® 5680 I-Fax is designed
for easy use. You can program up to 40
one-touch destinations, 150 2- and 3-touch
auto dials, and 50 manual dials. Preprogram
email addresses, as well. Group dialing
further increases your options: create up to
20 groups of mixed email and fax numbers, each
with up to 190 destinations! By automating
your most frequently called fax and email
numbers, you can increase workgroup
productivity.
The panel
displays on the OKIFAX 5680 I-Fax are designed
for comfortable, efficient use. The
alphanumeric telephone directory displays
names in the speed dial register
alphabetically, allowing you to search for
telephone numbers by name.
Easy
network setup.
It's quick and simple to
connect the OKIFAX® 5680 I-Fax to
your local area network (LAN). If you have a
DHCP server on the network, the machine can be
configured as a DHCP client by plugging a LAN
cable into its Ethernet port. The server will
automatically assign an IP Address, Subnet
Mask, Default Gateway, and Primary &
Secondary DNS Addresses.
If your
network doesnt support DHCP, you can enter the
same information manually through the machines
operator panel.
